Delete your account
You can close your Skillet account whenever you want. Here is how, and exactly what happens when you do.
Effective October 1, 2026
From inside the app
In the Mobile app, open your profile, then Delete account. On the website, open Settings, then My account, then Delete account. It asks once to be sure, and then it is done.
If you cannot sign in
Write to privacy@skilletfm.com from the email address on the account and say you want it deleted. We will check it is really you, do it, and write back to confirm. We answer within 30 days and usually the same week.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in. Nobody can ever log in as you again.
- Your email address and your picture. Your name becomes “Removed person”.
- Your place in every organization you belonged to. You stop being able to see any of their work.
- Every phone you registered, so no notification follows you.
The button does not yet remove your phone number, shift hours or pay rate if your organization recorded them, your notification settings, your AI assistant conversations, or the image file of your old picture. Write to privacy@skilletfm.com after deleting your account and we will remove them by hand.
What is kept, and why
The work itself stays with the organization it was done for: the work orders, the answers, the photos, the place a workflow run started, the times somebody arrived and left. It reads as done by a removed person.
This is deliberate. A kitchen's record of inspections and repairs is something its owner may be legally required to keep, and something an insurer or an inspector may ask to see years later. A record that quietly deleted itself when somebody left the job would be worse than no record: it would be a record that lies by leaving things out.
If you believe something in that record should not be there, write to us and say which and why. We will look at it.
One thing that will stop you
If you are the only owner of an organization that still has people in it, we will not let you delete yourself, because it would leave everybody else locked out with nobody able to help them. Make somebody else an owner first, then delete your account.
How long it takes
The account goes immediately. Copies in our database provider's backups expire on that provider's schedule.
